We’ve gone from a silly birthday party at our house to a 2-day music and art butter experiment at a real festival venue with overnight camping. This all feels a bit surreal, but the Churning Man team is already working really hard to bring you our best, buttery experiment yet 🫠🧈 THANK YOU to you, our Churners, for your love and support. None of this is possible without you, and we will never forget that.

These past few weeks, most months, and this past year in general have been profoundly intense, tragic, and filled with various kinds of grief and yet…inspiring for the world at large, our local Asheville community, and for us scheming at Churning Man HQ. How do we hold space for lives lost and families torn apart while still celebrating community by building connection through sacred play? The duality of humankind is not lost on us while we stand together As the World Churns. Our mission is to help us all hold space for everything that is light and dark in this world while creating an inclusive space where everyone feels safe. We strive to do this for this festival, and we will continue to strive for it at every space we create until our final days. We can’t wait to bask in the buttery goodness with y’all this Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the 3rd Annual Churning Man 🧈💕🥰
